Does not (yet) appear to be notable outside owning a building that collapsed. Although arrested, has not been convicted of any crime. Violates WP:NPOV, WP:BLPCRIME, WP:BLP and WP:BLP1E. JamieSc (talk) 01:56, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- It may be merged into 2013 Savar building collapse. New worl (talk) 02:02, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Agree a merge and redirect to 2013 Savar building collapse would be sufficient once POV and BLP issues are resolved. JamieSc (talk) 02:08, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. I see enough in big media about the subject himself such as the BBC profile,
[HuffPo], and the Toronto Star according to [this and other links]. In Bengali, there is presumably more. Also, the personal story will grow as he goes to court, as news will be about the collapse but also partly about his political involvement and his other alleged crimes.Truth or consequences-2 (talk) 16:51, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. Stroke out the HuffPo source which was from Reuters feed and has changed. Too bad that the Toronto Star piece can't be accessed directly, but it looks legit per [this] too. So, my vote stays.Truth or consequences-2 (talk) 16:41, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The man is important enough to have an article. He has been arrested, and the fact that he has not yet been charged means nothing. Of course the Bangladeshi justice system moves slowly, like in every poor country. This is especially true in a tragic time like this, and while they are already dealing with the tribunal for war criminals from the independence war. More facts will come out about him, even if they haven't yet. This article is important to keep. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Narayansg (talk • contribs) 17:13, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: "the fact that he has not yet been charged means nothing" - yes it does. "A living person accused of a crime is presumed not guilty unless and until this is decided by a court of law. Editors must give serious consideration to not creating an article on an alleged perpetrator when no conviction is yet secured." This is a clear violation of WP:BLP1E and WP:BLPCRIME. - Delete Obviously non-notable at the moment except in connection with the building disaster. It shouldn't even be taking so long to work that out. Definite overtones of attack page as it stands right now and in some of its incarnations in History. 122.176.146.47 (talk) 20:44, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - enough media attention to justify inclusion.--BabbaQ (talk) 21:22, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - Not too many people whose bios are up for deletion have full length NY Times articles about them with titles like: The Most Hated Bangladeshi, Toppled From a Shady Empire. Afasmit (talk) 22:33, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
