In order to remain listed at Wikipedia:Requests for comment, at least two people need to show that they tried to resolve a dispute with this user and have failed. This must involve the same dispute with a single user, not different disputes or multiple users. The persons complaining must provide evidence of their efforts, and each of them must certify it by signing this page with ~~~~. If this does not happen within 48 hours of the creation of this dispute page (which was: 21:06, 3 January 2006 (UTC) -1.5 hours), the page will be deleted. The current date and time is: 20:21, 8 July 2024 (UTC).

Users should only edit one summary or view, other than to endorse.

Statement of the dispute

This is a summary written by users who dispute this user's conduct. Users signing other sections ("Response" or "Outside views") should not edit the "Statement of the dispute" section.

Description

[edit]

{Add summary here, but you must use the section below to certify or endorse it. Users who edit or endorse this summary should not edit the other summaries, other than to endorse them.}

Robertjkoenig, his suspected sockpuppet, and IP's have been consistently placing information into articles that displays a blatant point of view and contains a myriad of unencyclopaedic information. He has attempted to turn the USAA article, its talk page, the Unincorporated reciprocal inter-insurance exchange article, and its talk page into his own personal blog by repeatedly trying to post details of his arrest that he claims was orchestrated by the CEO of USAA. He also places long, unsubstantiated rants into the article and post identical pieces into the talk page. He accuses anyone that opposes his conspiracy of working for the company and attempting to silence him. He also modifies the content of other users' comments, moves their position on the talk page, or deletes them all together. Mr. Koenig has a documented history regarding disputes at USAA, which sours his position regarding them. See: [1].

  1. Blatantly unencyclopedic, and I believe such inclusions should be considered vandalism and reverted without recourse to WP:3RR. FCYTravis 03:14, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Movementarian has been incredibly patient in dealing with Koenig, yet Koenig shows persistent disregard for Wikipedia's goals and policies. --Allen 03:26, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Since I don't know if me coming along in the last day warrants being placed in the certifying section I will just place my two cents here. 24.160.136.10 08:55, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  4. I had a hand in trying to deal with this Koenig guy. For some unknown reason, he just doesn't understand that Wikipedia is NOT a blog. I made a few positive suggestions (like starting a new article, or better yet taking his allegations to the media), but he won't listen. I don't know what this guy's problem is but the bottom line is his contributions are not constructive towards making Wikipedia better. Dknights411 01:54, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  6. This user appears to have a long history of campaigning against this company in various electronic media. Robert McClenon 20:23, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

I've blocked Zorro redux and Robertjkoenig for 24 hours for repeatedly inserting the same material into many articles. --Carnildo 08:30, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
