Promotional article in userspace. Possible recreation of a deleted article, especially judging by the orphan tag and cats, though I am unable to locate where the deleted article may have been. Redfarmer (talk) 18:03, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hangon It was just created today. Unless there are problems with this user or this company abusing Wikipedia in the past, shouldn't we allow some time for the user to construct an acceptable article in userspace first? As promotion, it's pretty skeletal. If it stays around unimproved for weeks, that's another story. Jclemens (talk) 18:07, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • This does not address the very likely possibility that it's a recreation of a deleted article. People generally do not add orphan tags and cats to article they are creating in userspace. Redfarmer (talk) 18:09, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • ...But userification for improvement is a generally acceptable outcome for non-attack, non-BLP articles, is it not? Jclemens (talk) 18:11, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
        • I mainly only nominated on the basis of a misdirected report from WP:UAA. If the user moves into a userspace other than their main userpage, I have no problem with withdrawing.
  • Keep (and turn off cats, which I have done). If this would be acceptable at User:Ball valve/Sungo, then I see no reason to delete; move if you must. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 18:53, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
