This template is used and misused in the series of articles about European sailing championships. The template, as inserted, creates a sea of red links for non-existent events, such as Germany at the 2015 Summer Olympics and Netherlands at the 2010 Summer Olympics, and thus one could question its outright utility in presenting information in a manner that is not misleading if not its capacity of being used correctly.
