The amide bond in it is drawn perfectly fine as the double bond electrons are delocalised. Fuse809 (talk) 12:16, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Tautomerism is not the same as simple delocalization. An amide is an amide, by definition with no H on O, rather than an imidic acid. And even if it were "just a delocalized form", it's also missing an H on the...O I guess. DMacks (talk) 16:34, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This image was derived from one distributed by the media from a screen capture of a live event hosted by the Canadian Space Agency and Bank of Canada via NASA. I believe it is from a NASA TV livestream, which may or may not put it in the public domain. (I would find the source, but video isn't working properly on my computer and crashes my system instantly. I've searched the NASA TV website for an archive of this event, but could not find it. Here's a YouTube video from the Canadian Space Agency - I don't know the licence, as loading the video page crashed my browser. Sigh.) Replacing this image with a PD version, or relicensing this image as appropriate would be welcome. Mindmatrix 19:26, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Everything is sourced from a NASA video. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr0g_xD20mA Because this material was created by NASA, it is probably in the public domain and not protected by copyright. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:PD-USGov-NASA This should be uploaded to Commons. What about the contents of the image is being discussed? It appears to be just Chris Hadfield floating in space. Not something we need a non-free image to illustrate. If you want use a free picture of Chris Hadfield to show who unveiled it, but we dont need a non-free image of a person floating in space in an article about bank notes. Werieth (talk) 12:32, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
To you, it's just some guy floating in space. To the Canadian Mint, it was an iconic presentation with someone who was the most prominent Canadian of the time, thus chosen specifically to launch the new notes. This choice was deliberate. It is appropriately echoed in the choice of image here. Andy Dingley (talk) 13:02, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to be replaceable by pictures of older dolls such as File:Balljointed bisque head doll.jpg. Stefan2 (talk) 22:06, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - tl;dr nutshell: File:Balljointed bisque head doll.jpg depicts an entirely different type of doll than what the article is about. Full explanation: Following reliable sources, the bulk of the prose of Ball-jointed doll deals with modern Asian ball-jointed dolls, which are the type of doll that are defined as ball-jointed dolls. File:Balljointed bisque head doll.jpg depicts a doll that would be defined as an antique, German bisque doll, a style and type of doll that predates modern Asian ball-jointed dolls by about a century. It is included in the Ball-jointed doll article history section as an historical influence, but it cannot adequately replace an image of an modern Asian ball-jointed doll, which have a distinct aesthetic style, influenced by Asian popular culture, as discussed in the article, cited to reliable sources. File:Unoabjd.jpg is used as an example of this style of doll, as per WP:NFCI #7 and this particular brand is mentioned in the article and reliable sources as an early, typical example. And the style and type of modern Asian ball-jointed dolls discussed in reliable sources are all brand-name, copyright protected dolls sold commercially, which means a free alternative depicting the dolls the article deals with would not be possible to find. -- Siawase (talk) 12:33, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - Keep the photo that's on the Garfield and Friends page, except for the photo I originally uploaded. Since I can't delete my own photos that I don't want on Wikipedia anymore, somebody else has to do it. I don't hardly upload any photos on this site anymore because they don't always stay on Wikipedia, so I quit doing uploads on this site. That is all I got to say.Stco23 (talk) 00:44, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
