The page is incomplete and is not being updated. A talk query from April asking about the incompleteness has not been answered since April. Only girl names starting with A have been included. Category lists of Welsh names already exist so the page is unnecessary. Sirfurboy (talk) 15:00, 23 November 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia has these categories: [1] and [2]. I recognise an editor has spent some time gathering sources for the names on this page, and would suggest moving to the editor's sandbox for completion as an alternative to deletion. -- Sirfurboy (talk) 15:10, 23 November 2019 (UTC)

• Keep; compare List of Scottish Gaelic given names. Reliable sources do exist, and AfD is not cleanup. (Actually, should be moved to List of Welsh given names.) buidhe 21:26, 23 November 2019 (UTC)

• Keep per WP:BEFORE. The page is in poor shape, but that can be fixed through normal editing. There is no deadline, and AfD is not for clean-up Cnilep (talk) 03:50, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
• Keep Being incomplete is not a valid reason to delete, nor is the fact that a category already exist, they have specific rules saying that. Dream Focus 19:16, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
• Keep - well-defined inclusion criteria, and unusually well sourced for this type of list. However, move to List of Welsh given names, lest people expect to find Aberdaugleddau on here... --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:17, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
• Drafity. While I have no issue with the topic, the list as it stands is incomplete as we only have covered the letter A in an alphabetic list. We should uphold a high standard on Wikipedia and defer it until the creator makes enough progress it to be suitable for a list article. Ajf773 (talk) 19:12, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
