The result was delete. After discounting Yatsura's comment, which dosn't address the sources, consensus is that the sourcing isn't good enough yet.  Sandstein  11:55, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non notable. WP:BIO - No doubt Thorin has some following, but I don't see how that meets the above. --allthefoxes (Talk) 02:08, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete for now as the best my searches found were only a few links with "Duncan Shields Thorin Scottish" at News and browsers. Draft and userfy if needed, SwisterTwister talk 19:58, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Extended coverage in reliable sources, such as The Daily Dot and USA Today.--Prisencolin (talk) 22:53, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - Shields is a notable person in the gaming (mainly CS:GO) community. Coverage by Kotaku, PCGamer, USA Today and Daily Dot. Anarchyte 04:14, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment. Duncan Shields is an editor at The Daily Dot, so that's not really an independent source. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:03, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
      • Comment. Well, The Dot about page doesn't mention him, but the Wikipedia article for The Daily Dot does. So I've removed him from the Wikipedia article. I should know better than to trust Wikipedia without first validating it. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:08, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The coverage is not very in-depth, and rather fringe, focusing on a very minor controversy, and him switching jobs once or twice. I do not believe that cuts it; not everyone whose name appears in a few minor pieces of journalism (if those "articles" can be called that) is notable. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:57, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. As Piotrus, I don't believe the coverage is substantial enough to support notability. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:11, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. As long as wikipedia keeps talk show hosts and youtube-stars, it needs to keep Thorin. He hosts every single CS:GO tournament and has a youtube channel with more than 150.000 followers. I know people-entries with less range on wikipedia. Yatsura (talk) 12:29, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay so sorry about blanking the page, I guess I was trying to duplicate the edit history but that didn't seem to work...--Prisencolin (talk) 01:13, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
