One Site Unit Training

One Station Unit Training, sometimes referred to as One Site Unit Training, is a term used by the United States Army to refer to a training program in which recruits remain with the same unit for both Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Immediately following Basic Training graduation, the unit seamlessly transforms from a BCT unit into an AIT unit. There is no relocation and same Drill Sergeants who conducted the Basic Training continue to instruct all of the participating recruits in their Advanced Individual Training. This streamlines the training schedule and helps to produce more camaraderie between recruits. There are a variety of Military Occupational Specialies (MOS) and training stations that have OSUT training. 11B (infantry) at Ft. Benning, Georgia follows an OSUT program. 21B (combat engineer) and 31B (military police) at Ft. Leonard Wood both also follow an OSUT program.

Technology

Universal ZIME Belt (Josta) consists of 18.4 trillions single ZIMEs. More than 400.000 persons and concepts are located on Josta sofar. Each ZIME is able to store unlimited amount of information while not growing bigger or more complex. Using today's computer technologies it is easy to encode information in ZIME but it requires a future Quantum Computer to decode it. This is why ZIME is often referred to as a Quantum Harddisc.

Foundation

ZIME Foundation was established in Latvia 2003 by several eminent personalities: Prof. Dr. Imants Freibergs, Prof. Dr. Andris Bukis, Imants Ziedonis, Maris Gailis among others. The Foundation dedicates itself to promote the idea of realization of the unique personal identity while maintaining general harmonic compatibility.

He had family on both sides, and, not wishing to be drafted by either the North or the South, he decided to get drunk -- and stay drunk -- so that he wouldn't have to fight in the war. Inebriety has been measured against Cooter Brown's extended binge ever since.

Vito Gurino

Vito Gurino was a Murder inc staff member and also involved in various rackets throughout Brooklyn. He later turned states evidence when the top Commission members started to order the deaths of anyone who could possibly hurt them in court. Having taken part in many murders and fearing he would be the next person to be hit Vito fled New York and went into hiding an act which made the already nervous Commission members mark him for death. When he returned to Brooklyn he went to the nearest Police station and confessed to taking part in nine murders. one of the most notable was the last surviving Shapiro brother Willie who was killed for vowing revenge for the death of his two brothers Irving and Meyer Shapiro. Willie was savagely beaten by Frank Abbandando, Harry Strauss, Harry Maione and Vito Gurino. After the beating they buried Willie Shapiro alive. Vito Gurino also confessed to the killing of John Bogdonowitz the New Jersey gangster who was killed because he wanted to go straight this worried the Bosses as they thought he may one day confess to the crimes he had committed for them so they called for the Commission to help them silence Bogdonowitz. The commission sent Vito Gurino and two other gunmen after Bogdonowitz and they found him at his mothers home and dressed as detectives they convinced his mother to call him to the front door. As he approached all three gunmen shot and killed him. As well as these two murders Gurino confessed to taking part in another seven murders because of this he avoided the Death sentence and was handed a life sentence for his crimes. Sources Murder Inc. European Gateway

She entered service on the 9th of June 1975. Disaster struck the ship on the night of the 19th of December 1982 when she was involved in a collision with the Speedlink Vanguard in the approaches to Felixstowe harbour. The European Gateway was holed below the waterline and took on an increasing list to starboard. Within 30 minutes she had rolled over onto a sandbank. Of the 34 passengers and 36 crew 6 were lost. The European Gateway lay with her starboard side resting on the sandbank until the new year of 1983. She was salvaged by a Dutch salvage Company on the 26th of February 1983. It also launched the careers of mega stars actor/singer Vakhtang Kikabidze and Nani Bregvadze. In 1975, Robert Bardzimashvili left Orera to form one of the first Georgian/Soviet rock bands. The Fusion Torch is a concept for the application of ultra-high temperatur plasmas found in fusion reactors. Because of the special properties of fusion plasmas it is possible to reduce any material to its basic elements for separation. This effectively closes the cycle from use to reuse. The developers of the fusion torch concept envisoned the use of fusion torches on an industrial scale in order to reuse any material that has been used by reducing it to the elements it was made of use any ores and be able to take advantage of even minute concentrations In their paper of 1969 B.J. Eastlund and W.C. Gough defined 3 "traps" that could hamper the advancement of mankind. Rivalry

The rivalry between Cedar Crest High School and Lebanon High School is fierce. Going back for some 30 odd years, every fall, there's a football game played between the two teams. The game officially earned the name, "The Cedar Bowl". Likewise, in the winter, there's a basketball game played every season. This has unofficially earned the name, "The Cedar Dome". This is where the two fan sections of each school can get carried away beyond recognition. Each school has their own fan section: Cedar Crest has their Cage Crazies, while on the other hand, Lebanon has the Cedar Crazies, named after their school's mascot, The Lebanon Cedars. Most recently, the Cedar Crazies were brought back to life at the basketball game of the 2005/06 season. Most notebly, Kenny Shucker, Andrew Clements, Christopher Clements, Cody Fiddner, Colin Kutz, Nhut Hyunh, Collin Tanawath, Henio Santiago, Frisco Cruz, Jessi Parker, Zack Coomer, Tim Baylor, Dichel Ortiz, Justin Wagner, and Sonny Mendez, all showed up to the game with painted faces and chests. The real cedar crazies started out in the early to mid 90's and died around 2001-2003. The hatred between the two teams resulted in recorded incidents of students being escorted out of the games by police, having the gameball thrown at the fans in the stands, and full bottles of drinks thrown at each others side during the middle of games. (also known as: Will Wong; born in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian singer/songwriter, actor and celebrity photographer. His family emmigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in the late 1970's. Will previously recorded in Chinese under the name "Will Wong" independently. Cover of Will-W.'s debut English LP "Connection" Musical Training Throughout his early years, Will starred in a few local productions in the Greater Toronto Area such as Oliver! and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and was actively involved in many local choirs. Will studied performance and vocal training under Chinese pop legend Teresa Carpio, who helped him bridge the distance to his Chinese roots in having grown-up abroad. Will went on to be a finalist in the nationally-televised singing competition Fairchild Television New Talent Singing Contest in 1998 and won the Best Performer Award in the internationally-prestigious TVB Eastern America New Talent Singing Contest held in Boston, Massachusetts in 1999. Recording Career In May 2001, Will submitted a composition "I"m Yours" for the Fairchild Television Songquest Competition. The song went on to garner Will an award, signaling a celebrated debut as a songwriter. "I'm Yours" went on to be an airplay topper in multicultural radio thereafter. Will|I Am was a top-seller at online and retail stores and the EP debuted as the second position on the online store's "Most Talked About" chart. Will went on to sell-out his album supporting concert in November 2002. Fans could not get enough of his emotionally resonsant voice and alluring personality. Buzz surrounding Will then quickly spread back to Asia and international publisher Warner/Chappell HK Ltd. added Will to its roster of exclusive songwriters in November 2003. Will’s songs have captured the interest and attention of some of the industry’s emerging talent. Actor/Model/Photographer Will has spent a bit of time focusing on print modeling, appearing as the face for Dose Magazine in a nation-wide advertising campaign. Mrs Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge is a full length play from American playwright Christopher Durang. Here he presents an alternative Christmas show, taking much loved and well known Christmas stories like A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and the film It's A Wonderful Life and giving them an absurd Durang twist. The story begins by closely following A Christmas Carol but when we reach the character of Mrs Cratchit, things start to change. This character, often over looked in Dickens is presented here as a harassed, over worked and despairing figure, a far cry from the embodiment of grace and perfection depicted in the original. Mrs Cratchit bemoans her pitiful life where she is surrounded by her weak and pathetic husband Bob, the sickenly self pitying crippled Tiny Tim, their twenty odd children, most of whom live in a huddle in the root cellar and their unattractive overweight daughter Little Nell (brought in from Dicken's Old Curiosity Shop for good measure). So when the Ghost of Christmas Past's magical powers prove to be totally incompetent, Mrs Cratchit is opened up to another world and finds herself wandering through Scrooge's past life on her way to get drunk and drown herself in the river, all the while Scrooge is completely missing the Ghost's message about the goodness of Christmas and finds himself drawn to Mrs Cratchit who "speaks her mind". Trying to put things right, the Ghost brings Mrs Cratchit home for Christmas where the Cratchits give a joyful rendition of "Yummy Yum Yum" before settling down to a Christmas dinner cooked by one of the children that proves totally inedible. With Tiny Tim and Little Nell both fearing for their mortality and competing with each other for sympathy, Mrs Cratchit finally gives up and leaves the family for good. It's here that Scrooge and Mrs Bob finally meet as A Christmas Carol gives way to It's A Wonderful Life and the Ghost finds her position and story usurped by Clarence the angel- now with his wings and eager to help someone else. Before anyone can stop him Mrs Bob suddenly doesn't exist: an attempt to emulate his recent success with George Bailey. But this time it back fires. Mrs Cratchit sees that her husband Bob is better off without her, she having been replaced by a perfect version and Tiny Tim and Little Nell are now incarnated as a dog and a horse respectively. Much to the annoyance of the Ghost, Mr Scrooge now doesn't exist either. With events spiralling out of his control, Clarence turns to Tess and Monica (from Touched by an Angel) who reveal that Mrs Cratchit and Mr Scrooge belong together and should live in 1970s New York. The final scene sees Mrs Cratchit and Scrooge as Leona and Harry Helmsley and with Bob Cratchit and his nice wife, they sing the final number "What is Christmas" while the Ghost is left to ponder the true moral of this tale. Background The show was commissioned by City Theatre, Pittsburgh and premiered on 7 November 2002. The original principals were Debbie and Jeff Billings, John Caskey and S. Craig Taylor, Jr. Mr. Caskey left after a few months but the other founders are still with the company. Two very unusual features of this company is that they operate under a print-on-demand production system and, although hobby shop orders are accepted, most of their sales are generated from their rather extensive and interesting Web site. When the company was founded, Mr. Taylor, who had formerly been with Battleline, Yaquinto and Avalon Hill, conducted research that determined that the old distribution system for manual wargames was pretty much defunct. Where distributors used to order grosses of games, now they wanted their usual discount for orders of dozens. Distributors also still practiced their old habit of being very tardy with payments, using smaller game companies orders like they were interest-free loans. Games printed in a conventional manner and quantities could no longer be moved quickly through the system. Selling directly from the Lost Battalion Web site without the usual discounts meant that the slightly higher printing costs could be absorbed without asking absurdly high game prices. Lost Battalion Games, without most of its capital sitting on warehouse pallets waiting to be sold, was also enabled to invest a higher proportion of its capital in publishing new titles. Web site sales are driven by attracting consumers with an extensive and eclectic grouping of advertisements, game information, replays, historical and humorous articles and free scenarios plus and electronic newsletter. Dvajsetega julija bo minilo 33 let od smrti Bruce Lee-ja, ki je ena najskrivnostnejših ugank dvajsetega stoletja. Ker Bruce Lee predstavlja nekakšno prelomnico borilnih veščin sem se odločil tudi o njem napisati kar nekaj vrstic.

Bruce Lee se je rodil v San Franciscu leta 1940, po tradicionalnem kitajskem horoskopu v znamenju zmaja oz zmajevem letu. Starši so mu dali ime Lee Hoi Chuen, vendar je medicinska sestra vpisala ime Bruce Lee, kakor da bi bila strokovnjakinja za zveneča imena za filmsko industrijo. Z dvema sestrama in dvema bratoma je odraščal v Hongkongu med številnimi udomačenimi opicami in kupico služabnikov. Izžareval je veliko energije in vedno zašel v težave tam kjer ni bilo treba. Pri trinajstih letih je začel trenirati posebno vrsto kung fuja ki se imenuje Wing tsun (ving čun se prebere) pri kateri je tehnično znanje bolj poudarjeno kot drobljenje moči. Vsi filmi ga prikazujejo kot pridnega študenta, ampak v resnici je bil zelo živahen. Takrat mu je bil očitno najbolj pri srcu ples, saj je bil Hongkonški prvak v plesanju čačača-ja. Pri 16 letih je kung fu dojel po svoje, svoje veščine ni hotel izpopolnjevati, temveč jo je vneto študiral na ulicah. Bil je v bandi, ki je bila oborožena z vsemi mogočimi nevarnimi rekviziti, med drugim z britvicami v težkih čevljih. Vsa njegova druščina je bila pod vplivom negativcev iz ameriške produkcije B. Ulični pretepi so bili takrat povsem vsakdanji, dovolj je bil že sprehod po kakšni od temačnih ulic. Bil je nevaren mulec, znan daleč naokoli. V poznih najstniških letih mu ulica ni ponujala več izzivov in boji so se nadaljevali v skritih podzemnih prostorih, kjer je na nogah ostal le še zmagovalec. Usmiljenja ni bilo, a Bruce Lee je ponavadi zmagal in kdor je stavil nanj je dobil, vendar vse to na drugi strani zakona. V zadnjem boju je nasprotniku razbil lobanjo zaradi česar so ga iskali varuhi zakona, vendar je njegov oče rekel da je Bruce že dolgo v ZDA, kasneje se je res nastanil v ZDA. V Seattlu je obiskoval srednjo tehnično šolo in si prizadeval za dobre ocene, da bi ga sprejeli na univerzo kar mu je tudi uspelo. Preden je končal srednjo šolo je spoznal kasnejšo ženo Lindo Emery - žensko večne lepote, malce zmedenega videza in uganko v očeh. Leta 1963 sta se z Lindo preselila v okolico Hollywooda kjer sta skušala vzbuditi navdušenje za kung fu, ki je bil takrat na zahodu povsem neznan. Leta 1965 spet v zmajevem letu se jima je rodil sin Brandon (umrl je med snemanjem filma Vran ko je nekdo slepi naboj zamenjal z pravim). Kitajci ki so se v ZDA povezovali v klane, so si kung fu lastili in so učili le brate kitajce. Bruce lee je kung fu učil vsakogar zato so ga izločili iz klanov. V njegovi šoli ni bilo pasov, obvezne obleke ali stopenj napredovanja, vsi učenci so bili oblečeni v lastna oblačila (kavbojke in majice). To je ulica, kjer ni pravil in kjer moraš ostati neopazen jim je razlagal. Postavil je temelje borilnega športa in v njem naredil revolucijo. Lee je končno prikazal svoje znanje na turneji po Los Angelesu, kar je posnela lokalna televizija in vso sezono predvajala v nizu oddaj Gren Hornet. Septembra 1970 se je Bruce Lee vrnil v Hongkong kot junak, saj so nekoliko prej tam predvajali Gren Hornet, ki so ga sprejeli popolnoma drugače kot v ZDA. V istem letu je podpisal pogodbo za dva filma, honorar je znašal sicer borih 7500 dolarjev, a ga Bruce ni odklonil. The big boss in Fist of fury sta pretresla vso jugovzhodno azijo in Lee je dobil status največjega bojevnika tega planeta. Postal je idol, česar se je hitro navadil. Njegova koža je bila kot žamet, na površini telesa pa vidna vsaka mišica. Bil je popoln in čudovit, vedno in povsod so ga obkrožali oboževalci. Njegov življenski slog se je s časoma obrnil proti njemu. Zaradi nenavadne prehrane je postajal zmeraj bolj vitek, kar pa mu ni ugajalo, ni pa motilo ameriških oboževalcev saj je bil v filmih veder in šaljiv. V azijskih deželah pa njegov videz ni bil privlačen, saj shiranost tam velja za znak slabega zdravja. Govorice da je to posledica kajenja hašiša in marihuane, so okrušile njegovo skalnato trdno podobo. Lee se je razburjal in doživljal strese saj je vsa opojna sredstva sovražil. Prijatelji so slutili da se nekaj dogaja, kar ni povsem v redu vendar kdo bi se vtikal v tuje zadeve. V tem času je leeju producent Fred Weintraub ponudil glavno vlogo za film Game of death, ki mu je kasneje prinesel prvi mednarodni uspeh. Še preden so igro smrti posneli so mu ponudili scenarij za film ki naj bi se sprva imenoval Blood and steel, vendar je Lee predlagal naslov Enter the Dragon ki je obveljal. To je Leejev najbolj znani film, ki ga v slovenščini poznamo pod prevodom V zmajevem gnezdu. Desetega maja 1973, ko so v studiju Golden Harvest dublirali njegov glas za film v zmajevem gnezdu, se je Lee zrušil. Takoj so ga odpeljali v bolnišnico, imel je pretres možganov. Naslednji dan se je zgodilo enako, mesec dni kasneje so mu opravili vrsto pregledov. Zdravnik je rekejl da ima telo osemnajstletnika in čeprav je suho je napolnjeno z zdravim duhom.Čez 6 tednov, samo 3 tedne pred promocijo filma je Bruce Lee umrl. Njegov pogreb je bil najbolj množičen v vsej zgodovini Hongkonga, udeležilo se ga je kar 25 tisoč ljudi. Truplo so kasneje odpeljali v Seatle kjer so ga na ženino željo upepelili. Premiera filma V zmajevem gnezdu je bila sredi avgusta leta 1973 in Lee je postal prva zares svetovna zvezda. Japonski najstniki so postali njegovi vneti fani in prevzeli njegov slog. Odprlo se je na tisoče šol za urjenje borilnih veščin. Do julija leta 1998 si je film v zmajevem gnezdu utrl pot do 20 najbolj dobičkonosnih filmov v zgodovini.

Je to dovolj da Bruce Leeja, o katerem lahko le ugibamo kdo, kaj je povzročilo njegovo smrt razglasimo za prvo svetovno zvezdo? Je to dovolj za mit? Miti, ki so zaviti v neprediren plašč skrivnosti, pa so večni.

Razza, is the Bangla title (last name) for king in the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The common misconception is that the title Razza is interchangeable with the title Raja. The Bangla sobdo (word) Razza does trace it's origin from the word Sanskrit word Rajah, but is characterized by the affiliation with the culture, heritage, and state which is Bangladesh. Another common misconception is that the title Razza is interchangeable with the last name of Reis. Razza is the Bangla equivelent for the Portuguese word Reis, both translate to king. The Bengalis or Bangla families who Have Reis as the last name have more descendence from a prominent Portuguese lineage, while Razza is a related to a more native lineage: atleast when it comes to name. The northeastern areas of Bangladesh, such as Sylhet and Sumangonj, have many prestigious families that have the last name Razza.
