Sorry

[edit]

I am very sorry to have to do something with all your intitial submissions. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a wrongly-capitalised title and its content should be merged into Oral and maxillofacial surgery. All the stubs to which it links were speedily deletable under "Criteriion for speedy deletion A3".

Please don't be put off, I am sure you can make some valuable contributions. -- RHaworth 18:53, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

various pages

[edit]

You seem to be creating a lot of pages right now about various European dentistry-related groups that contain no content, only a link. When making a new page you need to have some context and some content. How about starting with "the __ association is a group of ____. Founded in ___ by ____, and currently boasting ____ members, it serves to _____..." (You get the idea I hope). --אריאל יהודה 15:37, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously - please stop making empty pages. If you want to see a good example of how to expand an article, check out American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, which you initially made and someone else expanded into a decent article. All of your empty articles fall under the criteria for speedy deletion, and will probably be deleted soon if you leave them empty. --אריאל יהודה 15:41, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The thing is that this is meant to be an encyclopædia, not a search engine - if your article just refers someone to a link, without adding any extra information, people might as well just have used Google in the first place! The "welcome" message above contains links which should help you to create great articles. Best of luck! Regards Tonywalton  | Talk 15:44, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Stubs

[edit]

You seem to have taken no notice whatsoever of the messages above and have recently created eight external-link-only articles which have been speedily deleted. May I suggest a simple interim solution: in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, convert what are at present red wikilinks into external links! Easy innit? -- RHaworth 16:44, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
