Regis Brodie, the artist I am documenting here was in Funk and Wagnalls Encyclopedia, 1976 through 1982 editions with an image of himself illustrating contemporary porcelain (from his resume found on http://www.brodieco.com/resume.cfm).

There is precious little information in Wikipedia about major living artists involved in the arts and crafts movement of this country or the world. Furthermore, there is an astounding lack of art museums listed in Wikidepia which carry major artists, living and dead, in the arts and crafts movement. Where is the Musee National de la Ceramique, the major museum in the world known for their permanent collection of ceramics?

It just seems that there should be more additions to the encyclopedia that have to do with the arts and crafts movement worldwide. If these articles are deleted, who will know about these artists.

I think I have addressed most of your concerns. Please see the updated article.

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Regis brodie, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Regis brodie. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. — Swpb talk contribs 06:55, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
