Request reason:

Certainly not a troll, and not a sockpuppet in the conventional sense either. Also lottery system was not original resarch. Lottery systems are big business (of the con variety, mostly!) - see this google search or a reliable source or even an unreliable one. It was poorly written perhaps, but I've just come back to improve on it substantially (as I said I would) and find myself blocked. If you want me to keep out of RfA then fine, but please unblock this account so I can get to work on said article - please restore it too so that I have a framework to be starting on.

Alternatively, I am happy to work on it in userspace until it reaches a standard someone deems appropriate.

Decline reason:

You're pretty clearly a sockpuppet of some sort. If you are going to be unblocked, being a bit more forward about that and your intentions is going to be necessary. — Vassyana 02:25, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not a conventional sockpuppet because I don't have a proper Wikipedia account, I move between accounts constantly as I've seen what happens to users who don't. And as I say, my main intent (at the moment) is to recreate that article and get it to at least b-class status.

Decline reason:

Sorry, still not a good enough reason for unblocking. Sockpuppets to avoid blocks and work on articles are not allowed. — ^demon[omg plz] 17:31, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not avoiding any blocks!

Decline reason:

You stated: I move between accounts constantly as I've seen what happens to users who don't. WP:SOCK makes clear that using socks to avoid scrutiny from other editors is forbidden. Denied. — IrishGuy talk 17:54, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not attempting to avoid scruitiny from other editors, quite the reverse. I'm attempting to avoid scruitiny from people in real life - we all know what can happen then. I'm very happy for each and every one of my edits to be scruitinised. Linking them all together is something that I would have a problem with, because of the real risk of outing / stalking by the likes of Brandt or Bagley. And as I've said, I'm not avoiding blocks by using socks. Not a single one of my accounts has been blocked, warned, censured, etc. I have loads of socks, actually. I'm fighting this block not because I cannot get around it (doing so would be trivial), but because of the principle that is at stake.

Decline reason:

Three of my fellow administrators have already declined your unblock, and I agree with their reasons for doing so. Please e-mail the arbitration committee if you wish to appeal further. — krimpet 20:00, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
