World's second largest democracy by population.

[edit]

Hi. USA is the 3rd largest country by population. China is a not a democracy. India is a democracy and it even states on their Wikipedia article that they are the world's largest democracy by population. Now isn't it just a simple deduction that the USA would be the world's 2nd largest democracy by population since China is not one? Not really sure if I need a source for this. More Context: The only two countries with more population than the USA are India and China. Alexysun (talk) 03:05, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexysun Well, the verifiability policy states that material that is "likely to be challenged" should always be cited. Not every reader out there will know or care about the political status of China and India, nor even their population. Based on that, it should be cited.
Also, Wikipedia is (ironically) not a reliable source because of its user-generated content. TheWikiToby (talk) 03:51, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@TheWikiToby Okay, I'll find something. Alexysun (talk) 04:00, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
