Speedy deletion nomination of Omkar Realtors & Developers

[edit]

Hello Social igenero,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Omkar Realtors & Developers for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Bilbo Baggins (talk) 09:06, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are you being paid to edit Wikipedia?

[edit]

Hello Social igenero. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Social igenero. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Social igenero|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Kindest regards, -- Samtar talk · contribs 13:17, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Samar, I'm not paid to promote this content or page, nor I'm associated with the business. I won't be making any changes until further notice to this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Social igenero (talkcontribs) 13:36, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Social igenero, Your username does invite the interpretation Samtar/There'sNoTime expressed. I came here with the same idea in mind. Anytime you create an article for a company or product of dubious notability your username will invite people to assume the article's been created as part of a social media advertising campaign. @Social igenero: Okay, I'm going to have to take you at face value for the time being (though I do have some concerns) - however, please note that you won't get in trouble if you are being paid to edit Wikipedia, you just need to declare it. I'd urge you to read this and then let me know if you think there's a chance you could be classed as a paid editor. Failure to do so will result in being blocked and articles you've created being scrutinised heavily, and possibly deleted -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 11:21, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Aaryan Gala has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NMUSIC and WP:GNG wholesomely. Nearly G11-able promo-spam. Rubbish promotional-sourcing.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
