Joel Kenney

[edit]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Joel Kenney has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:32, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Arlo Kay Atkin

[edit]

The page Arlo Kay Atkin was deleted after a consensus was reached to delete the article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arlo Kay Atkin. Please do not take offense; Wikipedia is a community of editors trying to build a quality encyclopedia. Unfortunately, not all topics are suitable for inclusion. The primary reason the article was deleted was because the subject of the article failed to satisfy the the notability guidelines for criminals. On Wikipedia, notability is a test used by editors to determine whether or not a topic can have an article. Generally, a topic is presumed notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the topic itself. A subject is also presumed to be notable if it satisfies subject-specific guidelines. If a subject isn't notable enough for Wikipedia, unfortunately it will likely be deleted. If you have more questions about the deleted article, please ask them at the Wikipedia:Help desk, rather than on the deleted article's talk page. For more information on what you can do now, check out the essay Wikipedia:Why was the page I created deleted?. Respectfully, Mz7 (talk) 00:02, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Arlo Kay Atkin

[edit]

The article Arlo Kay Atkin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Looks like this article may have been previously deleted at AFD and recreation may have bypassed AFC. Appears to be a copy-paste from the AFC submission. Relies on primary sources (like the police report) and a MyLife website.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Arlo Kay Atkin

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Scarce2 (talk) 11:39, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
