Diane Keaton & David Beckham

[edit]

First, I would question the extremely dubious action of removing of someone who is not a member of a project seeking to apparently determine which articles that project covers. That really is not something that is at all generally approved. Also, both of these individual were included in the now-deleted List of celebrities involved in the Kabbalah Centre. I grant the weakness of the involvement of Beckham, but I also note that according to basic wikipedia rules there really don't have to be any clearly defined parameters for a given article to be one which a given project works with. For what it is worth, both individuals were/are involved in the Kabbalah Center. Their involvement also, potentially, gives them the opportunity for placement in the Portal:Kabbalah, which is something most GA articles like Beckham don't otherwise get. On the basis that basically what happened was a non-member of a project unilaterally and without consultation of the project itself decided that the project in effect has no business determining its own activities, I have reverted the inclusion of the names in the project list. On the articles of these people there was no mention at all of their involvement with the centre. But the point is take re membership. Netzach 12:40, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2004 melee in Crown Heights

Why did you erase most of this section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yonoson2 (talkcontribs) 00:03, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I forgot to explain. It seems to qualify as a local controversy, and not one that relates to the movement as a whole, which is the criterion for inclusion in the article. See here. Netzach 10:34, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Footnotes on Chabad controversies

[edit]

Why did you cut out all the footnotes on the bottom of "Controversies of Chabad"? {I put them back for now}

Sorry, that was an accident.--Netzach (talk) 13:29, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
