[edit]

Hello, Goldstallion, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Olga Busuioc, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Olga Busuioc requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Olga Busuioc. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 15:11, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I understand you, please help me, I want to make my own page as a opera singer, I am a public figure and that's why I want to make my own page with my details on wikipedia, for people to find me more easy about my life.

Advice on Sources

[edit]

Hi there, I saw your question at the AfD about what kind of sources are appropriate for Wikipedia. Great question! In principle, Wikipedia runs on secondary sources rather than original research. So for instance a YouTube video of a performance would be a primary source (because the person describing it for Wikipedia would have to do their own analysis) but a review of a performance written in a well-known newspaper would be a secondary source because a third party has already given an account in a reliable source. You can read much, much more about Wikipedia standards for sources at WP:SOURCE, but in short, a good place to start is a Google News search. You might also check out bios for similar performers to see what kinds of sources their articles have (although do note, sometimes articles remain on Wikipedia not because they have adequate sources but just because no one has noticed yet that they don't!)

As others have pointed out, it's true that writing your own bio is not recommended; however, if your entry has sufficient sources to meet Wikipedia's technical definition of "notability" (WP:N), then your entry will be accepted no matter who authored it. Please do have a look through and make sure you understand the guidelines before you spend a lot of time on the entry though, as what counts as "notable" on Wikipedia is often different from how the word is used in ordinary English, and it can be frustrating to see an entry you've worked hard on get deleted. Good luck and welcome again! Innisfree987 (talk) 20:15, 17 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Goldstallion. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Olga Busuioc, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Olga Busuioc to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, XyzSpaniel Talk Page 19:13, 31 October 2016 (UTC) Hello, I added some references, thank you for your support![reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Olga Busuioc, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Olga Busuioc. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:36, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My edit is not about copyright violation, it is related to the title of this article.

Why you decided to delete it?

Why you blocked me? You don't explain the problem, what kind of violation do you mean?
