He whom blinks, is afraid of death, is a novel by Knud Romer. The novel was published in june of 2006 and describes the authors upbringing on the danish island of Falster in the 1960's and 1970's. The novel is not composed as a cronological tale, but as glimts of memories. The novel has been given praise for its artistic expression.
In 2007 Knud Romer recieved the award De Gyldne Laurbær for this novel, which also was nominatet for the DR Romanprisen in 2007.
