Dok2 and The Quiett has joined Show Me the Money (SMTM; Korean: 쇼미더머니) as producers for 4 seasons, SMTM 3, SMTM 5, SMTM 6, SMTM 777.

Show Me the Money 3[편집]

• It's the season, which made Dok2 and The Quiett become famous to people. They made the winner of SMTM 3, Bobby, with their genius recording ability.

Show Me the Money 5[편집]

• Dok2 and The Quiett participated SMTM again as Team Dok2 & The Quiett, and many people expected to see their genius recording ability because they were the producers of winning contestant in SMTM 3. However, Dok2 took the blame from the audiences of SMTM 5 because he played favorites. At 1 on 1 battles of myunDo vs Taewoon, myunDo and Taewoon rematched for 4 times. Eventually, Taewoon didn't rap well at the last rematch, and when he didn't rap well, Dok2 criticized Taewoon, but loved myunDo. Most audiences thought that it was unfair and was not even needed to rematched for 4 times because Taewoon was much better than myunDo. Some audiences said that the judges were waiting to see Taewoon's mistake by rematching again and again. It became a hot issue, so Dok2 showed through Instagram that Dok2 and Taewoon are following instagram together to show that they are in a good relationship, then it became like not a problem anymore, but Dok2 unfollowed Taewoon's Instragram a few days later, and it became a hot issue again. Despite Dok2 took the blame from the audiences of SMTM 5, his team went to Round 9 (Finals).

Show Me the Money 6[편집]

• Dok2 participated SMTM again with Jay Park as Team AOMG and Illionaire (also knows as 도박 or Gamble Gang).

Show Me the Money 777[편집]

• The Quiett and Changmo participated SMTM as Team Illionaire Ambition.

Ambition Musik

Dok2 and The Quiett formed a new label under Illionaire in September 2016. After announcing Ambition Musik, they introduced three rappers, Kim Hyo-eun, Changmo, Hash Swan, through official Ambition Musik Instagram account. For the first time, Dok2 and The Quiett didn't think to scout Changmo and Hash Swan, so fans guessed that it would be Superbee and myunDo or Microdot, but it wasn't true. After establishing Ambition Musik, new members will be joined through Ambition Musik, not Illionaire.

Influence on Korean Hip Hop

Before Illionaire Records came out, showing off money to people was not ethically right because of Korean culture. However, Dok2 didn't care what other people talk and think about him, so he was showing off that he's making tons of money with his rap music. Hip hop used to be a music genre that not many people like, but Illionaire Records has led the hip hop culture to the mainstream from the underground. Also people used to think that rappers are always having trouble with earning money , and it was actually right because the first generation hip hop musicians or rappers had a trouble with earning money.

Illionaire showed and proved that a small label can success more than idol groups from huge kpop agencies. It also became a chance that other rappers can be young and rich. Hip Hop became a popular music in Korea and in the world.
