Jonathan Jablonowski (born July 16, 1997), better known as EliGE, is a American Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player currently playing for Team Liquid.[1] Some of his previous teams include SapphireKelownaDotCom and eLevate.

Career

nitr0 began playing computer games at the age of 2, his first game was Freddi Fish. When nitr0's brother came back from college one summer, nitr0 was able to beat his older brother at Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). nitr0 was enrolled at Louisiana State University (LSU) when he was forced to make a choice, take his finals or go play at a tournament in Sweeden. nitr0 chose to drop out of LSU and pursue a professional career in CS:GO. 2014

In October nitr0 left Area 51 Gaming and joined Denial Esports replacing Preston "juv3nile" Dornon. [3] His time a Denial was short-lived because a month later he would join iBUYPOWER. [4] In December nitr0 was replaced by Spencer "Hiko" Martin in iBUYPOWER roster, nitr0 then joined Torqued as a stand in.[5] That same month nitr0 joined Denial again replacing Jacob "FugLy" Medina. 2015

In January Denial released nitr0 and his teammates. nitr0 was offered a spot on the Team Liquid roster later that month. In April Liquid won 1st place in both RGN Intercontinental Open 2 North America and FACEIT League 2015 Stage 1 - North America. [7] [8] In May Liquid won 1st place in the ESWC 2015 - MSI USA Qualifier after beating Cloud9. [9] In September Liquid finished in 1st place at the iBUYPOWER Invitational 2015 - Fall after beating Luminosity Gaming, nitr0 had a rating of 1.02. [10] In October Liquid won 1st place in CEVO Season 8 Round Robin - North America after going 9-2-0 [11] In November Liquid would win 1st place in ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 - North America with a record of 17-4, they would go on to place 5/6th at the finals. 2016

In February Liquid would place 1st/2nd in the DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016 - North American Qualifier. [14] In the group stage at the MLG Major Championship: Columbus Liquid would go 2-0 in the group stage after wins against FaZe Clan and Fnatic. nitr0 was the highest rated player in the game against FaZe Clan and finished with a 1.44 rating. nitr0 was the lowest rated on his team against Fnatic but still managed to win the game in overtime. [15] [16] In the quarter finals Liquid beat Counter Logic Gaming in a best of 3 advancing them to the semi-final in where they would lose against Luminosity Gaming. [17] Liquid would finish MLG Major Championship: Columbus in 3rd/4th.

2017

At the ELEAGUE Major 2017 Liquid placed in 9th/11th place in the group stage and did not make it to the quarter-finals. In May Liquid placed 1st in the ESL One Cologne 2017 NA Closed Qualifier after a win to Counter Logic Gaming. Liquid would place 1st in the group stage but would be eliminated in the quarter-finals, they finished in 5th/8th place in the final standings. In November Liquid won 1st place in the Americas Minor Championship - Boston 2018 after a win against Misfits Gaming.

2018

In January Liquid would go on to place 12th-14th place at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 after a loss to Vega Squadron. nitr0 would lead liquid to victory at cs_summit 2 while maintaining a 1.25 rating for his team. [18] At ESL Pro League Season 7 - North America liquid went 20-2 and would place 2nd at the finals. [19] At the FACEIT Major: London 2018 liquid was eliminated by Astralis in the semi-finals.

2019

In January Liquid was able to finally beat their rival Astralis at the iBUYPOWER Masters 2019. [20] Liquid placed first in multiple events including Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Sydney and DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019. In July Liquid won ESL One Cologne 2019 and the Intel Grand Slam with a prize of $1 Million, nitr0 finished the event with a rating of 1.15 against Team Vitality. [21]
