Early Life

Josan was raised in the small town of Yuba City, California. He has always been a visionary from childhood. When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he commented “everything”. Josan comes from a very traditional, religious and loving family. In additions to his parents, he is blessed with 1 brother and 1 sister. Some of his pastime activities include figuring out how to bring his dreams and visions into realty, which is why he chose to pursue the field of a film Directing.

Career

He started working with Columbia Pictures and Sony Picture Entertainment as Assistant & Associate Director. Josan began his career by working as an Assistant Director to Phillip Noyce in Salt (2010 film). Since then he as worked as an Assistant Director for various other Hollywood flicks such as Skyfall by Sam Mendes, Amazing Spider Man by Marc Webb, The Tourist by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, Total Recall by Len Wiseman, The Roommate by Christian E. Christiansen and Football Cops by DirecTV. He has also worked as a Production Manager for Heartland (film) by Fred Holmes. In addition to Filming industry, he has also worked as a Director on various TV Commercials for prestigious companies such as Mercedes Benz "Waltz" 2011 for Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Ford Mustang for Ford Motor Company and Wall Breaker - Mercedes 2013 GLK Commercial for Mercedes-Benz U.S. International. All of his works seem to spring fully formed out of his mind and onto the screen, like daydreams with impeccable cinematography. His taut, meticulous vision reflects his own passion and determination. 2009-Present

• 2013 - Josan worked as Director, Mercedes-Benz Commercial, USA. Directing the shooting timetable to schedule, manage, meet and deliver on deadlines. -Set prioritization to oversee the artistic/technical elements of the production for full commercial lifecycle. -Collaborate with team to elicit/review the project progress & provide guidance & assistance to as needed. -Excellent communication skills to provide an artistic eye to frame shots & give precise feedback to cast/crew.

• 2012 - He worked as a Director for a Ford Mustang Commercial. He was in charge of organizing the film crew to achieve the Stakeholders, Producer's as well as his vision of the commercial. Josan developed group leadership skills to develop schedules for the team to ensure timely project completion. He Possess the ability to maintain a singular focus even in the stressful environment of a film set. -Ensure that all individuals involved are aligned & work towards an identical vision for the entire shooting initiatives & accomplishments.

• 2010/2012 - Josan's role as an Associate Director for Columbia /Sony Entertainment Pictures, Los Angeles, let him to lead Assistant Directors/Runners; production liaison to track & provide progress reports on shoot. Authoritative team-leader/motivator, whilst with exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Generate filming schedule; work in consultation with Director to fulfill his creative ambition for the shoot. Manage all budgetary constraints, cast availability, film schedule & script coverage. -Manage schedule/call sheet to ensure that crew/cast is on standby & ready for the Director's cue for action.

• 2009/2010 - Josan worked as an Assistant Director for Columbia /Sony Entertainment Pictures, Los Angeles and coordinated all production activities, supervised the cast/crew. -Possess the to plan ahead, trouble-shoot and pay close attention to detail is vital in this role. -Excellent communicator, with tact and diplomacy skills to facilitate any problem that may arise. -Ability to prioritize task & perform multi-task as well as work long hours as needed to get the job done. He is highly skilled to work under highly pressurized and stressful conditions with a flexible & positive approach.

Finally in early 2013, Josan decided to branch out and form JBEI, Josan Bros. Entertainment Inc. JBEI is based it out of Yuba City, California, USA and believe in the power of the giant-screen, exceptional Hollywood & Bollywood feature films that transform how people see and experience their world. Utilizing the finest film and digital technology that exists, JBEI aims to inspire, inform and entertain people of all ages with positive, enriching motion picture experience set in the most extraordinary and remote places around the earth. The company is especially committed to creating motion picture entertainment that transpires the audience to re-discover and explore the natural habitats; inspiring them to cherish the beauty so that it can be protected. Josan is now getting ready to make his directorial debut with a bilingual film titled ‘THE JOURNEY’. The film is based on the life of Jesus Christ and will be made in English. It showcases the protagonist discovering the truth about life and the path of God while inspiring people around him. It is an international project and will be released worldwide and shot in London, Italy and India.

Josan’s dream and his script is an aspiration that will no dubitably has lead him to be one of the most important filmmaker of our current era. Given the history of his past work, it is easy to predict that his new venture for “THE JOURNEY” will also be a complete sell-out. Josan Sandeep is on track for exerting a powerful, if unacknowledged, influence on mainstream event cinema. He is an independent-minded filmmaker who has forged a happy working relationship with not only Hollywood but Bollywood as well. This is thanks to a brilliant balancing act. He soothes the studios with expert, intelligent crowd-pleasers like Daniel Craig and Skyfall then shifts gear for more esoteric, personal projects such as Total Recall. His ongoing alliance with Hollywood and Bollywood, moreover, is the most reliable double act success for this century.
