Alana Ribble (born August 16th) is a native of Royal Oak, Michigan a film and television producer.
Early Life
[edit]A proud product of an amazing public school education, graduating from Dondero High School[1], home of the mighty Oaks, and studying Psychology at Northern Michigan University, Alana decided to trade cold weather for L.A. temperatures. Almost immediately after relocating she began working for NBCUniversal, after a 5 year stint decided to expand her horizons to other parts of Hollywood.
Career
[edit]A chance assignment at Disney Studios led her into the producing world, allowing her to build up her resume, making her qualified for a better future. This led her through the door of famed producer Albert S. Ruddy [2], where she worked under his wing as he mentored her to have her own success. [3]
In 2008, she was part of the producing team for Camille (2008 film), a major motion picture with James Franco, Sienna Miller and the last performance of David Carradine.[4]
In 2014, she was part of the producing team for Sabotage (2014 film), a film starring Joe Manganiello.[5]
In 2018, with the MUCH NEEDED #MeToo and @ Time's Up movements she publicly honored her mentor and father figure Albert S. Ruddy as a man who believes in women- that for 12+ years he has NEVER touched anything but her heart... "Let the WORLD know that there is HONOR in Hollywood and his name is Albert S. Ruddy... he taught me, made me learn, so I would go higher because THAT is what real MEN do..."[6]

She has been thanked on many elite projects (both television & film) in the Hollywood industry by caliber talent as she continues to shine brightly.[8]
Personal Life
[edit]Alana is the youngest of two daughters to George Ribble and Janet Street.
Raised in The Salvation Army[9], both sets of grandparents were Salvation Army officers' [10], her heritage links back 5 generations, spending her youth volunteering to ring Christmas Kettles', helping at the SA children's home and going to SA camp in the summer.
In 2009 Alana's mother was given a terminal cancer diagnosis- immediately moved her from Michigan into her L.A. home, where Alana spent the next 3 years escorting her off this Earth (2013). She credits the peace she was in by calling Terminal Illness the GREATEST thing that ever happened to her: "It allowed me to stand in a spirit of Thanksgiving and say 'Thank You for loving me'!"
