Girish Tanti is an Indian businessman and the younger brother of Tulsi Tanti. He holds the positions of Vice-chair of the Global Wind Energy Council since April 2024[1] and also Executive Vice Chairman of Suzlon Energy since 2022,[2] being chosen during its annual border meeting in Abu Dhabi along with his brother Mr. Vinod R. Tanti, who was chosen as Chairman of Suzlon Energy,[1] following the passing of their late brother Tulsi Tanti.[2] He seeks to carry forward his vision and legacy.[1]
Girish is the Co-founder of Suzlon energy, a top player in renewable energy in India and third largest turbine-maker worldwide,[3] he currently holds a bachelor's degree in electronics & communication engineering and also a master's degree in business administration from the United Kingdom.[2]
