Karan Vishal Konde

Karan Vishal Konde[1] graduated with a degree in Mass Media specialising in advertising from S.I.E.S College of Arts[2]. Karan during his course of studying, interned as the Production Manager on an intensive documentary capturing the stigma associated with AIDS patients, headed by Dr. David Gere[3], brother of Hollywood actor Richard Gere[4] and the director at UCLA Arts and Global Health Center[5]. He then moved on to film producing and joined Whistling Woods International School[6] of film making, Mumbai. He was awarded the gold medal for his excellence in producing, by the veteran actor Mr. Vinod Khanna[7] and C.E.O of PVR Mr. Ajay Bijli[8] in an event hosted by Mr. Subhash Ghai[9]. He later came in contact with his film-school colleague Nisheeta Keni in early 2017 to collaborate as the producer on a Marathi feature film, project titled as “Bogda[10]” which is an original screenplay by writer-director Nisheeta Keni, which they co-produced. It released in theatres all across India and is now streaming on Zee5. Karan is also working actively in the field of Virtual Reality. He is the co-founder of Dragon Water Films.
