Karl Efraim "Kalle" Zackari Wahlström, né Karl Gunnar Efraim Wahlström, born 24 februari 1981 in Skinnskattebergs församling in Västmanlands län[1], is a Swedish television presenter and screenwriter.
Biography
[edit]Kalle Zackari Wahlström is a son to the teacher and author Pär Wahlström and teacher Gunilla Haag Wahlström,[1] née Olsson. He is the younger step-brother to Erik Haag and Sara Haag.
Wahlström worked for several years at the advertising agency Delorean AB, but has also devoted a lot to hunting and training. In August 2011, he started writing the training blog Stark som en björn, snabb som en örn and after only a month it was transferred to the magazine Café, where he continued writing until August, 2013. He has co-written the script for the comedy television show Söder om Folkungagatan and has been a traveling reporter for Veckans svensk.
During 2014-2016, he led the SVT program Svett & etikett for three seasons, where he challenged himself in various forms of exercise. In connection with the television program, he published a book with a title that linked to his blog: Stark som en björn, snabb som en örn: Träning (fast kul). In the autumn of 2015, he led another training program on SVT named Träna med Kalle. In 2016, Wahlström hosted the SVT show Gympaläraren, where he returned to his former high school Vanstaskolan in Ösmo, Sweden, and attempted to get the schoolchildren to exercise more frequently. To motivate the students to continue training routine, he completed an eight-kilometer obstacle course with some of the students in an episode of the program Svett & etikett, which was broadcasted on October 19, 2016.
Together with Molly Sandén and Farah Abadi, he led the television and radio show Musikhjälpen 2017.
Family
[edit]Kalle Zackari Wahlström has been married to Brita Zackari since 2011, and together they have two children, born in 2016 and 2019 respectively. His previous marriage with Jonna Bergh, between 2004 and 2010, lead to her conceiving his firstborn in 2005.[2]
