Dr. Paul Lee was a well-known Doctor Who fan. In the early 1990's he wrote a widely-circulated article about the Missing Episodes of Doctor Who titled Missing Without Trace; this article, while controversial was an excellent attempt to gather and distill the various stories, rumours, and facts about the missing episodes. Recently, Dr. Lee has returned to fandom and maintains a peripheral interest in the missing episodes and has updated his article somewhat to reflect what is understood today and to correct some mistakes which had been fed to him by certain fans in the early 1990s. His research into the missing episodes can be found on this updated page.

His other areas of interest include ghosts, which, as a young boy he deeply believed in, but is now highly sceptical of, mainly because of the antics of several gullible ghost research groups. He has lectured on the subject a number of times.

His is also interested in the Titanic disaster, particularly the Californian incident, although his interest extends to wreck forensics and other matters; and the Kennedy Assassination, where he tries to remain as non-partisan as possible.
