"Beware the opinions of a kid right out of college." —Brent DiCrezenco, Pitchfork, 2013[1]

Hello, I am Chchcheckit, an "editorial anarchist" and complete f##king idiot. I named myself after the Beastie Boys song, I never actually listened to it until me writing this and it's not my thing. "Lmao". Moral compass still in development, probably in pre-alpha development or something. I have ADHD and am on the Autistic Spectrum, meaning conversation and relationships is hard (okay, to be fair, the latter wasn't just because of that....). Wikipedia is basically my preferred coping mechanism with reality. Otherwise, hyperfixation's where it's at (mostly to the detriment of my bodily health following hours of sitting and being unable to do what i need to)

I find regret interesting.[2] There are things I was ignorant to that I have since reckoned with. There will be more things I shall soon reckon with. I know that I know nothing. Dunning–Kruger effect. You only succeed through failing and you will never know if you don't ask

currently trying to understand sexism in the media through reading essays and books. i had awful media literacy and was not being able to understand the intent of bias behind a source. never again.

thoughts, head

[edit]
  • doom loops on wikipedia are awful, searching for a source that never materialises and you still refuse to give up....
  • self proclaimed editorial anarchist (i am messy), have a lot to learn. maturity pending, but is definitely happening. mentally unstable, sometimes without the "st"
