Bubba Bolden is an American football safety for the Miami Hurricanes.

Early years

Bolden attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a senior he was named USA Today All Nevada Defense player of the year with 27 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, and seven interceptions. [1]

At Bolden's lone season at the University Of Southern California he totaled 8 tackles before he transferred to the University of Miami.

Bolden did not compete in this season due to the NCAAF Transfer Rules.

2019

In the 2019 season Bolden played in 5 games and started in 1. He totaled 11 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble before suffering a season ending injury. [2]

2020

In 2020, Bolden saw action in 11 games with 74 tackles, one sack, one interception, four forced fumbles. He was named semi-finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award and earned 2nd Team All-ACC Honors. [3] He also won ACC Defensive Player of the Week in their game against Louisville. [4][5]
