Self-Introduction

[edit]

"Arepticous" is my online persona, The name itself carries no meaning. Its simply an interesting combination of letters that intrigued me when i was 10 years old. Finding more information on me is relatively easy... It seems that i had gone around releasing personal details on this website ages ago. However, i do not wish to repeat those mistakes.

Language

[edit]

My native tongue is *not* English. I apologize for the inconsistency in quality. I've gotten complaints before, stating that I use "broken English." I understand that it's seen as a sign of incompetence, but I also believe that my fluency has since improved. Hence, please notify me if any of my contributions lack standard proficiency.

Interests

[edit]

As mentioned in past versions of my user page, I've had a particular interest in birdwatching. However, due to the lack of support and the emergence of a pesky medical condition, i've stepped back permanently. I currently enjoy game design, experimental programming and creative story telling.

Brief History for anyone interested

[edit]

I began my en-wiki journey in 2017 with some questionable contributions. I was rightfully reprimanded, but was also encouraged by the website to give things a fair try. My attempts at this "fair-try" proved that i was incompetent and unwilling to learn, leading to an indefinite ban which sent me into what i'd like to call "a vengeful frenzy". At that time i was an immature pre-teen and the years that followed may stand as evidence of growth. From creating a brand new persona with a sock account in 2018 to spamming UTRS appeals in 2019, my past behavior has been erratic and wildly irresponsible. I take full accountability for these actions and i wish that this second chance at things proves worthy of redemption.

I also understand that my current age isn't necessarily a state of solid maturity. However, it is a point in life which enables a stronger sense of comprehension. Making me more confident about my ability to become a competent contributor.
