The University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus) Chess clubs is a recreational club that connects students who are learners, intermediates, and skilled Chess players.
History
[edit]Founded
[edit]The Founder and President Laura Kelly started Okanagan College Okanagan College Chess Club in 2018. After she transferred to the University of British Columbia, she began the UBCO Chess Club.
Meetings
[edit]Prior to the Coronavirus disease 2019 COVID-19 global pandemic, the club met in the EME building's foyer.
