The 2030 NBA Finals was the championship series of the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s 2029-30 NBA season and conclusion of the season's playoffs. In the best-of-seven playoff series held from May 30 through June 11, 2030, the Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Western Conference champion Los Angeles Lakers 4–1, earning the franchise its second NBA championship. acquired by the Cavaliers via the 28th pick in the 2029 NBA Draft, Alex Cruz was named the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP), joining Magic Johnson as the only players to win Finals MVP in their rookie season.
