Question

[edit]

QUESTION: When and where was the term "PRESIDENT" first applied to the head of the U.S. government? Who coined the term, and in what context? Are there any minutes or transcripts of the deliberations of the Continental Congress relating to the choice of this title for the presiding officer of the Con. Con., or for the future U.S. head of state?

Thank you for any enlightenment you can provide. Linda McCready 76.105.61.96 (talk) 18:58, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
