1901 election of Kidd

[edit]

Kia ora Kiwichris and others. If you haven't yet seen the 1901 Auckland City mayoral election article, please have a read; especially the section "Mayoral results". Basically, we've had two elections in 1901. The first one in April, where the public elected John Logan Campbell. The second in July, where the city councillors elected Alfred Kidd after Campbell's resignation. I'd be inclined to list the July 1901 election as a separate event in this template. Any dissenting views? Schwede66 05:44, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Combining the two into one makes sense to me, A similar occurrence happened in 1909. Nice work with the 1901 article! Kiwichris (talk) 06:01, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
