The purpose of this template is to provide a single location for the urls of the London Gazette issues and supplements listed at Wikipedia:London Gazette Index. This so when and if the Gazette changes its urls, the fix need only be applied here.
Usage
[edit]The template accepts two named parameters:
|issue=– the issue number printed at the top left corner of the Gazette page|supp=– the supplement number printed at the top left corner of the Gazette page
Use either |issue= or |supp=; do not use both.
To link to a specific issue:
{{London Gazette index url|issue=29427}}→ 29427
To link to a specific supplement:
{{London Gazette index url|supp=29428}}→ 29428
