Tata Electronics will be a semiconducter factory in Jagiroad. It is poised to become a landmark industrial project in Jagiroad, situated in the Morigaon district of Assam, India. This facility will be part of India's strategic initiative to develop a robust semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, reducing dependency on imported electronic components and bolstering local production capacities.

The project is part of India's Semiconductor policy, supported by the India Semiconductor Mission and Assam's Electronics policy. Construction is set to begin this year, with the first phase ready by mid-2025. This will greatly boost industrialization in North-East India.[1]
