  • The 16th named storm of the 2002 Pacific typhoon season, Sinlaku formed on August 27" - Don't we usually spell that out? You know, "sixteenth" instead of "16th".
  • "Over the next few days, it fluctuated slightly in intensity while moving over or near several Japanese islands." - It might be better to say the "Ryukyu Islands" to be more specific. When I first saw that, I thought it was incorrect because it wasn't close to islands like Honshu, Hokkaido, etc.
  • "Shortly after Sinlaku become a typhoon, the JMA estimated it attained peak 10 minute maximum sustained winds of 150 km/h (90 mph).[1] Also on August 31, the JTWC estimated peak 1 minute winds of 205 km/h (125 mph)." - It is rather odd how you say "Also on August 31", but you should have established it was August 31 on the previous sentence.
  • "Residents on the small island of Minamidaitojima evacuated their homes to safer" - Wikilink "Minamidaitojima" to "Minamidaitō".
  • "government buildings in Taipai, and flights between northern and southern" - The capital of Taiwan is misspelled
