I'll review this article shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:55, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

  • aerobic and rena link to disambiguation pages currently.
  • "is named for being a plain beside a mill." should it be 'is named for a plain..'?
  • "In 1958, an equestrian exhibition area was built at Stampesletta. Described by Agricultural Director Aslak Lidtveidt as the country's most modern, to allow the state's mare exhibition, which had previously been held in Lillehammer from 1887 to 1940." the 'to allow' part should probably be with the first sentence; doesn't read well currently.
  • "moved from Sportsplassen i Lillehammer" in Lillehammer
    • "Sportsplassen i Lillehammer" is the name of the old venue. "i" is Norwegian for "in", while "sportsplassen" means "the sport place" (a colloquial term for a simple stadium). Arsenikk (talk) 21:42, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In June 1989, the municipal council voted to located most of the Lillehammer venues to the Stampesletta area, and to located" to locate or to put would sound better.

I'll put the article on hold and will pass it once the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 17:45, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speed skating at Stampesletta

[edit]

How come there aren't any mentions of the usage of this arena for the speed skaters in the article, since it is voted as a GA quality ? There were national championships there and the traditional race called «Lillehammerløpene» mentioned in autumn 1955 by Finn Hodt and on this commercial for the 1964-edition. The former speed skating club (Lillehammer Skøiteklubb) in the area were established 1896 and ceased to exist in 2006 according to this. Regards Migrant (talk) 00:23, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
