Major geographical features
[edit]- Crosses local drainage in northeast Missouri, crossing form Mississippi River to Missouri River watershed at La Plata (900 ft), then follows Missouri River to Kansas City
- Crosses local drainage in southern Kansas and Oklahoma, ending up on a ridge south of the Canadian River
- Mainly follows drainage in western New Mexico and eastern Arizona
