I'm calling shenanigans on this

[edit]

There's nothing on the official site about "Old Yellow Bricks" being the next single. Doc Strange 20:43, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair the Arctic Monkeys official site is not updated frequently and we have a source (a rather poor one though). Bencey 13:36, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but there is still no official word. We should WAIT for that site to update, or to here from any member of the band about what the next single will be, and IF there will be a next single. Doc Strange 17:07, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The official site is actually updated fast and frequently now, it would definitely be updated to tell about something as important as a new single release. The source is very poor so I think this should be removed until we hear official word on the matter.

80.192.103.233 10:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC) The source has removed any reference to the single being released early october. This page should be deleted, as the source is inaccurate.[reply]

Why Delete the page? It is still a song of the album. It could be a stub article at least. Cm619 11:23, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

80.192.103.233 12:15, 15 August 2007 (UTC)That is a good idea, if somebody wanted to a page for every song could be made. Unfortunatly, I don't know enough about the individual songs to create such pages, if there are any die-hard AM fans maybe they could do one[reply]

It's been decided to only make pages on the singles. This should be deleted. We should only take official word (this also includes any major publication or tv station. MTV, NME and the band's own website are good sources. Some random shaddy webpage isn't Doc Strange 20:06, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the time the deletion process goes through, the single will probably be anounced. Not worth it IMO -Ally 15:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And what if it ISN'T "Old Yellow Bricks"? What if it's "Teddy Picker" or "The Bad Thing" (as examples) or what if they release a US Radio-only single like "Fake Tales of San Fransisco" or what if there is no third single? who knows? Delete this. And wait for an official announcement. Doc Strange 19:52, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Delete it, its not a single. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.110.61.32 (talk) 10:03, August 20, 2007 (UTC)

Whoever jumped the gun to make this article should've waited for either the band, NME, MTV2 (the UK one), BBC Radio 1 or any other more credible source before making it, i'm now hearing conflicting reports that "Teddy Picker"'ll be the next single Doc Strange 17:04, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
