Norn

[edit]

And what about The Norn language, an extinct North Germanic language that was spoken on Shetland and Orkney. eab 30 November 2011 1918utc

WHAT ABOUT LIVONIAN, I BELIEVE THIS IS THE MOST RECENTLY EXTINCTED.

[edit]

What about ancient Asturian and Cantabrian??

Punic

[edit]

I am aware that recently a lot of languages have been removed from this article. Although I do agree with their removal and say that I shouldn't have added them, Punic is a different case. The Punic language is listed as an extinct language of Europe and it is clear that Punic was used in Malta, Sicily, Sardinia and the Balearics. Furthermore, the argument for its removal is "Diverged from its parent language in North Africa not in Europe". Now, I don't get why its divergence from Phoenician is important since this article also includes dialects, but any of them would be good to be added back onto the article. Thank You.
