Company rebrand and acquisition

[edit]

Bdijkstra Thanks for your help moving this page in relation to the rebrand. As part of the rebrand the company has a new logo which can be found on it's website here: https://goodlogisticsgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/GL-Logo-Full-Transparent-e1630920079142.png - I do not have sufficient privileges to update the logo - would you be able to help and do this? (The old logo could even be a copyright infringement given that it shares design elements with the logo of its previous parent company) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jennivision (talkcontribs) 13:46, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In case you tried to re-upload File:John Good logo.png: please don't do that, only small changes should be made to existing files, not complete replacements. The old logo should be deleted once it is no longer used, as per the fair use rules. How to deal with this new logo depends on its copyright status. Perhaps it doesn't exceed the threshold of originality, in which case it can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons as a free image, see c:Commons:First steps/Uploading files for how to this. If not, or if you're not sure, then probably fair use is okay; for this, see Wikipedia:Uploading images. bdijkstra (talk) 08:57, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
