"The men call on Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish), and to help them.", tried to read this round a few times and can't comprehend the use of 'and'. Surely it is redundant?

"Billy escapes.", is that it? Does the viewer have an idea where he has gone to? Could do with a tad cleanup, 'Billy Miles' has already been introduced and appears in the third and final paragraphs; going by WP:MOS, once you introduce someone by their full name, it's perfectly fine to call them with their common name; in this case 'Billy'.

"However, Duchovny announced that after the end of the eighth season, he would leave the show for good." could do with a ref.

"In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the episode made its first appearance on television on..." → its first television appearance on...
Minus sign needed on A. So 'A−' not with a hyphen.
"...advertise the birth of Dana Scully's child with the tagline "Scully's baby is born. Pray for it" noting that the slogan...", need a comma between " and 'noting'.
Contra Costa Times should be italicized, as it is a newspaper.
"did praise the final 10 minutes", spell out 10.
