The information in the article on Simpson that none of his compositions did not appear in print in his lifetime is not fully correct. As you'll notice from the external link to WIMA which I've just added Playford's "Court Ayres", 1655, contains (at least) one suite by Simpson--Reccmo16:42, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
