Selection process vs bad data

"This OpenStreetMap map of Oklahoma shows the challenges of automated Selection from raw GIS data. The gaps in the highways are not due to missing data, but to shortcomings in the selection process."

note that it is not fully accurate - part of the problem was that road data was not so well classified. Note that now, with the same selection method map is better as data was fixed. See https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=7/34.343/-99.613
