I have been thinking about the etymology of the Ebonic origin of the slang use of "Boo" and suspect that it may have come from the poplular Hanna-Barbara cartoon Yogi Bear. For it seems that the use of the term "Boo" is not just a romantic affection but the deeper meaning is that of an "inseparable" pairing. As Boo-Boo was always at Yogi's side so is the context of the boyfriend girlfriend relationship of those who use the term "Boo". —Preceding unsigned comment added by BuzzEvil (talk • contribs)
