The anglo-Normans is the correct term for them they were nearly entirely Irish by the tudor invasion even in the pale and those few that retained a ''old English identity in the pale had a older Norman identity. My edit addresses this already. The pale may have been bolstered back up during the tudor invasion, but that doesn't make Normans the same as the tudor English. Tags: Manual revert Reverted

That's up to you to provide that discussion I'm just adding factual information here. Doesn't matter what they were called they weren't the same people who emerged in Ireland to colonize it in the 16th century.
