Jake Richards is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Member of Parliament for Rother Valley since 2024.[1][2]

Early life and education

Richards was born on 5 July. He attended Woodhouse College. He then read History at Somerville College, Oxford.[3] Following his undergraduate studies, he completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at City, University of London.[4]

Personal life

He is the son of journalist and broadcaster Steve Richards.[5] In 2023, he was engaged to broadcaster Liz Bates.[6]
