Lastli is a Canadian indie pop band from St. Catharines, Ontario. The band formed in 2017 which consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Keegan Beach, rhythm guitarist Damian Birdsey, lead guitarist Andrew Beach and drummer Scott Blake. In 2022, Andrew Beach and Blake left the group and were replaced by Jeff Hurst and Chase Donoghue.

The band has released 14 singles and a self-titled EP. The group has opened for the likes of Virginia to Vegas and Monowhales, as well as garnering over 50,000 singles streams.[1]

History

Lastli formed in 2017 in St. Catharines, Ontario, founded by guitarist Damian Birdsey, lead vocalist Keegan Beach, lead guitarist Andrew Beach and drummer Scott Blake. After years of working together on various music and film projects, they decided to come together and form the band in their hometown.[2] The group released their debut single, "Searchlight" on July 2, 2017. They released a music video for the single, "I Hope You're Full from Eating My Mind Up" in May 2018, which was shot in Toronto, Ontario.[3] The group was set to release their debut album later that year.[2]

In December 2020, the band signed with Watson Entertainment management.[4] They released their debut EP, Lastli, on May 7, 2021.[5] They released a music video for the single, "You Do This Thing", which was dedicated to their late friend, JD Meeboer.[6]

Lastli performed at Canadian Music Week's Programming Festival in May 2023.[7] On July 22, the band performed at the One Big Day music festival in Niagara Falls.[8] The group headlined the Songwriters' Circle event in December 2023,[9] to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Popguru Sound and Vision.[10]
