Elyas Mohammadi (born 2004), known by the nickname "Niyayesh Bridge Cleaner," was an Afghan-born road sweeper in Iran who was murdered while performing his duties, two days before the government's Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
The man who threw him off the bridge, causing his death, claimed that at the time of the murder, he thought the victim intended to insult the Iranian flags and the 22nd of February.
