Early Life
[edit]Born in Jashore, Bangladesh, Akbar led a humble life as a rickshaw puller. Despite lacking formal training, his innate musical abilities caught the attention of locals.
The “Ittadi” Breakthrough
[edit]In 2003, Akbar’s life changed when he was invited to perform on the popular TV show “Ittadi.” His renditions of Kishore Kumar’s Songs, including “Ekdin Pakhi Ure Jabe”[3]and “Tomar Haat Pakhar Batase,”[4] resonated with audiences nationwide.[5]
Struggles and Support
