Nigel Buesst (born 30 April 1938) is a Melbourne filmmaker. He ran a photographic school in Carlton until 1970 when he began teaching film at the Swinburne College of Technology.[1] He has been described as " a living legend of Melbourne's film scene."[2]

He helped start the St Kilda Film Festival.[3]
